All of Grace

C.H. Spurgeon

This work is among Spurgeon's most popular and is a great explanation of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith.

All of Grace is Spurgeon's most beloved evangelistic work — a warm, plain-spoken invitation to sinners of every kind to receive salvation freely through faith in Jesus Christ. Written at the height of his ministry, it distils the gospel with the clarity and urgency that made Spurgeon the most widely read preacher of the nineteenth century.

Drawing on the great Reformation declaration that salvation is by grace through faith and not of works, Spurgeon leads the reader step by step: from the nature of sin and the need of the soul, to the finished work of Christ, the simplicity of saving faith, and the assurance that follows. Each chapter is pastoral and direct, addressed to the seeking sinner who fears he may not qualify for grace.

Spurgeon wrote this book to be given away. He had tens of thousands of copies printed at his own expense and distributed without charge. It has never gone out of print, has been translated into dozens of languages, and remains one of the most effective gospel tracts in the history of Christian publishing. It is freely available in the public domain.
